For Sale (UK): Graphite M535i 49,600 miles (4148280, RHD)

 

To make way for a new project, I am looking to part with my beloved E12,M535i what an example!. The condition, history, documentation and extensive life in the media, including the BMW 'M' club meeting, suggests that this car has to be one of the best preserved in the UK.

The car is showing 49,600 at present, yes, this is backed up by every MOT certificate, correctly serviced and stamped service history (BMW + marque), I even have the original bill of sale, the first owner paying £13,257.40 before VAT and 'road fund' was added the date- 4th June 1981.

The car is presented in incredible, original condition with a high lustre to the paint and contrasting 'grey' cord Recaro interior, the windows are virtually unmarked in bronze, power assisted to the front and the brightwork throughout the car is undamaged and as it should be.

I would add, the previous and second owner of the car, bought in 2004, continued to garage her as I do. The car also recieved enormous attention, no matter how small, detailed.

I believe that both front wings were replaced after carefully being sourced, a new set of front springs fitted, which were the original ( E12 M535i stock)- but for the version with air- conditioning, the only ones avaliable and slightly stiffer.

The rear spoiler was also removed, the rear lid repaired and painted, due to showing signs of water absorbtion, this item ( now a difficult to find part) is perfect, dry and could easily be refitted should you desire.

The car drives without fault,is comfortable and docile in modern traffic and also turns heads, recieving comments from everyone. I decided to place her on sorn in December, I have a current MOT ( May 2011 ).

I have all keys, including master. All receipts for work, every bill quite literally! the Hi Fi was £Staggering price! when fitted new, yes it was 'top of the range'- all I want to do is cruise, windows and roof open and listen to that fabulous sound track of an engine- It could be you!!!

Why not buy a an appreciating model? ,
prices for other 70's, 80's are beyond reach for many, this isn't, not quite yet.
